Fruits and vegetables are our true "fast foods".? Fast artificial foods should be avoided like the plague!? In fact, I do not even consider 'foods.? Not only they can make you fat, but a new study links severe asthma, hay fever and eczema.??Researchers studied more than 500 000 children in over 50 countries.? As they shouldn't be surprising: children who eat any fast food three times or more per week had approximately 30% increased risk in the severity of asthma, hay fever and eczema.? The study was published in the journal Thorax.
Instead of attending the wheel of the window, plan in advance by packing sandwiches home, sliced some fruits and vegetables.??Your prep. time will be less than 10 minutes, and your kids will be much healthier!?? I send my girls to the sport with a container of freshly cut vegetables (peppers, carrots, jicama, sugar snap peas, etc.) to eat at home.? They are usually hungry and thirsty, so vegetables costs hit the task.? (The best time to offer vegetables is when your kids are hungry!)? Don't forget to aim at least five to seven servings of vegetables every day.
Until next time, to count every bite!
